The power of flowers

Since being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease at the age of five, Lykke picked up a paint brush and never let go. Painting flowers in watercolor, the same way her grandmother had done it, rooted such a deep connection to flowers in her.

From watercolor to windows

Lykke has a degree in Fine Arts from The Jutland Art Academy and Residency Unlimited in New York. Inspired by the tradition of stained glass, she has developed a secret painting method that reflects colourful light once exposed to sunlight. Just like real flowers are never static, her windows are in constant change.

Floral feelings

To Lykke, a window is the perfect canvas, because once painted it transforms its surroundings and make you see the world in a new light. The unique combination of flowers and light cultivate a strong sense of joy and belonging to nature - what she calls “floral feelings”. In a time where we lack touch with the natural world, building a stronger bond with nature is more important than ever. Through the interactive floral window art, Lykke spreads floral feelings and help you reconnect with nature.

Where can you see the work?

From the design hotels to flower festivals, train stations, universities and Copenhagen’s largest public square, Kgs Nytorv, Lykke’s window art blooms at various locations. She has transformed more than 450m2 across Denmark and is currently expanding her floral empire internationally.
